Graphic Design is essential on almost all forms of business communications as it gives the audience an identity to relate to and also helps convey and portray the intended message to it maximum capability.

It can be used in media such as Business Cards, Poster, Menu Design, Product Design and many other. The future is now, and that is prevalent with the existent of 4D communication. It started with print materials on 2D paper, then elaborated to 3D materials such as Wedding Cards and now technology has enabled us to use smell to create another dimension of communication.

Digital Design combines Graphic Design with technology to create interactive pages, banners, animation and more. The main difference that can be established is that Graphic Design is that Graphic Design is for the most static such as magazines and posters. Digital Design on the other hand can incorporate static visual art, but also may include animation, sound effects and audio.

One of the big differences between Digital Design and Graphic Design is the role of analytics and data collation. With Graphic Design it is a lot harder to track the performance of print material and on the other hand, Digital Design can be tracked through visits, clicks, likes, and shares, this allows modifications to be made to Designs and marketing campaigns. Another difference between Graphic Design and Digital Design is that Digital is interactive. Interactive design is more complex and has more variables than static design, since not only aesthetics play a role but it is also important that it is usable – which is the focus of User Experience (UX) design.
